[ Eric watched as an eve more cheerful Shouhei wandered around the bar doing birthday kind of things. Everyone sort of was helping in some way or other but Eric never caught just whose birthday it was. But as Shouhei came over to ask Fujishima for some help, which he was going to give Eric looked up curiously to Shouhei, finally hearing who the birthday boy was this time. ]

Ah...this time, it's Bandou's birthday?

[ Brthdays always seemed to be such a big deal here it was a little stragne to get used to. ]

[Shouhei smiles at Eric, taking a step back and checking to make sure San-chan is still out of the bar.]

Yep! Soon anyway. I'm not sure if anyone's done something for him since I had to move away as a kid so I wanted to make sure that we did something this year.

[He tilts his head, watching Eric's face.]

You wanna help?

[ Eric listens intently before nodding a couple of times. ]

If that's okay...

[ Shouhei does have a few people helping he hopes he wouldn't get in the way of anything...]

[Shouhei waves a hand.]

I'm not sure how long it's been, so more people helping out now is better than less.

[What to ask Eric to help with though? He doesn't really want to leave Eric alone doing some prep work so...]

Do you want to come with me to find something to give to him?

[Puppy dog eyes go!]

[ Considering everyone has taught him that everyone's birthday should be celebrated, he wanted to celebrate everyones, and helping was even better.

He perks up a bit at that. That meant shopping, right? Shopping was still exciting and fun for him. He nodded again. ]

Mm.

Alright! Do you have anything planned today? We can go later if you don't.

[Leaving right now is possible, but he'd like to stay for a little longer before running off with Eric to buy something for San-chan.

Or they could just go now and swing by Shouhei's apartment to drop it off before coming back to the bar... Either works.]

Not..really. I'm free, anytime.

[ Eric and planning things never seem o go well together, he does what he wants when he wants to. ]

Okay, then... [Shouhei looks around again.]

Wanna go after I talk to a couple of the others?

[Ask them a couple things, get them not to tell San-chan where he went if he shows up, that kinda thing.]

[ Another nod. ]

Whenever you're ready.

[ He'll wait for whenever Shouhei decides he's done. He was sort of in the middle of doing everything anyways. ]

[Shouhei nods and goes off to talk to Kusanagi-san and a few others before coming back to talk to Eric. It's probably something like 10 minutes later when he comes back.]

Alright, I'm ready now.
