PROMPTS!

1. Can't get in - You snooze, you lose. Didn't get up early enough? Well too bad. Now you're stuck in line, either in front of the convention center or at the train station. Are you willing to wait in line? Try to bust in? Or maybe a kind friend has saved your space for you. Or maybe an asshole has decided to try and muscle their way in front.

2. On the main floor - The main draw of comiket are (of course), the tables held by various doujinshi circles. Whether you've been here before or got dragged by a friend, it seems bigger and busier than you ever thought it could be. There are thousands of tables selling everything from doujin to merchandise as well as the occasional booth from a video game company or a publisher announcing this season's anime. Better make sure your friends are still within reach. It's pretty easy to get lost in the sea of sellers, buyers and cosplayers. Also you might want to note that thanks to JUNGLE, members of Scepter 4 and HOMRA have been getting pretty popular so... don't be surprised if you suddenly catch doujinshi and merchandise with your mug on the cover. and possibly shipped with someone you know or might not have even spoken to

3. I need a break - Maybe that's just way too much excitement for you for one day but you need a breather. Back outside, there are refreshment stands at least so you can grab a snack if you want. Of course, you'll probably have to step around all the people hanging around and playing video games or dodge the occasional circle of cosplay photographers.

[ Bandou was already at the convention when he decided to get out his PDA and call around to the other guys. He was having a good time, but things had gotten a bit weird when he found out his long time guild mate was actually a member of Scepter 4. Even weirder when the two started to get along as if no sort of rivalry had ever existed between their two clans.

But Enomoto had to go to the dealers room to sell some of his product, so now Bandou was sitting around waiting for the next event he wanted to attend to start. Which wasn't for about three hours. And feeling like he had to make up for his association with the Blues, he thumbed his way through his contacts. Most of the guys were at work or just didn't want to go. He figured Dewa would be interested, but considering he lent him most of the money he needed to get his own ticket, maybe he should just avoid the guy for now. He hovered over Eric's name - he'd definitely be free, but would he care enough to go? Whatever he's giving him a call anyway. ]

[ Eric really wasn't doing anything other then wandering around Shizume's area possibly heading over to the bar to see if anyone was there when his phone rang. Shuffling it out of his pocket he stared at it for a moment, before picking it up to answer it. ]

Hello?

[chickshades]

Eric, what are you doing right now?

[ Who needs to say hello when you can get straight to the point? ]

Walking.

[chickshades]

Walking where? Are you near the convention center??

[redstray]

Anywhere.

[ He pauses, thinking about where that was. ]

Don't know where that is.

Well use your GPS and get over here! Oh and bring some money.

And why should I do that?

To hang out! I'm all by myself at this convention.

Why did you go in the first place by yourself then?

I didn't want to! And I was gonna meet up with someone here but... nevermind. Just get over here, alright?

[ He sighs, it's not like he was doing anything anyway. It might be fun whatever was going on anyway. ]

I'll buy you some taiyaki or someth-- oh.

[ He actually didn't think it'd be that easy to convince Eric, so he was mid offer when the guy agreed. Just play it off like you never said anything, Bandou. ]</small I mean, yeah good! I'll be out front.

[ Since Bandou mentioned it so nicely of him, he won't say no. He heard. Meanwhile now he's trying to figure how to actually get there. ]

[ He'll hang up now and go lean against the building outside, tapping at his PDA to entertain himself. And probably checking out any cute girls that walk by in awesome cosplays. ]

[ It takes about half an hour before Eric finds the place, another few minutes before he locates Bandou. He was looking curiously over everyone, first time really seeing something this crazy. ]

[ Said all so proud cause obviously it's the most awesome thing ever. ]

[ Geez Eric, get with the program. ]

A huge doujinshi fair! And they've got some gaming stuff going on, too. It's pretty awesome.

[ He looked around, spotting some girls in weird clothes before staring back at him ]

Are these your weird hobbies and fetishes again?

It's comics, it's not a fetish! And it's not weird either.

[ He gestures out at all the people around. ]

All these people are into it, too.

[ Well, he did have someone else to chat with, but yeah he leaves that out for the moment. ]

So what do you do here?

I mostly just hang out in the gaming room, they've got an arcade set up with some rare games.

[ He shifts on his feet, raising his arms up and behind his head. ]

I'd check out the dealer's room, but I don't have any money to blow this year.

[ Which is obviously not his own fault. ]

How can games be rare? You're playing them.

[ Ah it all makes sense now. ]

That's why you told me to bring money.

They bring these ones in from America and Europe and stuff. You can't play them here.

[ He looks way too excited about all this. ]

The games are free to play. But we're gonna need food and there's definitely gonna be some stuff I'll want in the dealer's room.
