[ Eric walked his way over to the area where a meeting was going to be taken place. Something urgent. They got him out of his room an everything, so it must be serious if they were using him.

His eyes drifted over the warehouse that had been his home for a long time. Ever since they moved after an incident, this has been their headquarters. He blinked, trying to remember what the incident was...ah...his brother escaped, wasn't it? Izumo had ran away and left Eric here with the consequences of his actions.

He tilts his head. When did his brother leave here? Leave him? A few years now wasn't it? He vaguely wondered if he was still alive, or was he enjoying his freedom after abandoning his brother. He frowned, trying forget about those thoughts as he felt anger. Now wasn't the time. The leader was talking about a thorn in their side, and how they might snuff it out.

Ah, Homra again?

The name kept popping up here and there, they were becoming a bit more of a problem with each passing day. Their borders clashing even more as their territory expands.

The leader barked at him, telling him to get ready. Eric could only nod, wandering over to retrieve his knife. Looks like things were finally moving forward. He had a job to do, there was nothing else that mattered, right?

A vague image of his brother flashed in his mind and he smiled, vicious and full of teeth. Yeah, nothing else mattered, anymore. ]

[ Eric looked at the bar Homra from the outside. He hadn't seen it a whole lot this year. So much had happened, everything was a pretty big mess. All of Homra got hit with it, even Eric. And he knew he was worrying Fujishima by being so withdrawn. It had been hard, seeing the first place he called home drift apart so far away. But now, they were coming back together, for one reason.

Anna was the new King.

Although it seemed that some of the others were apprehensive with this news, Eric didn't mind. That meant Homra was back, and he had a place to call his own again.

He opened the bar door, smiling slightly that it was open again and not closed for so long. The others weren't really around today but that was fine by him, they could be quite noisy. And he enjoyed his silence for now.

He came to enjoy the bar, and to maybe talk with Kusanagi. He hadn't really gotten a chance since he went to Germany.  He sighed, things really were chaotic this year. ]

[ Eric watched silently from his position on the couch as everyone seemed to hustle or bustle about in some way or another. It was mostly Totsuka doing a lot of whatever it was that was causing this uproar, bringing out a cake, some strange accessories and everything of the like.

He ignored it all as it filled the bar, along with everyone there. He wasn't used to their strange behaviour yet, they didn't seem to have any consistency.

They said they were waiting for someone, he didn't catch his name, only half paying attention to what was going on. They weren't needing him or talking about him so he really just had to stay put where he was. There were a few people still not in the bar, Fujishima included, so perhaps they were waiting for one of them. ]

[ Finally the day was over. There was nothing about this new job Bandou liked. The hours were shit, the pay was even more shit, and, worst of all, he was forced to wear this uncomfortable uniform all day. If it wasn't for his desperate need of money, he would have quit already.

But even now, as he slumped down into a seat on the subway, he couldn't get himself to put his hat or shades back on. All he wanted to do was barge in on Shouhei, take a shower without asking first, and hope the guy had some beer in the fridge for afterwards.

Yeah...that would make the day better. Bandou grinned stupidly to himself as he cradled his hat in his hands. Maybe the rest of the day would be okay, now that he was off work. ]

[ It's been just a few weeks since Homra had decided to wipe out a chunk of Hikawa, and the atmosphere surrounding the group was all but tense, inside and out.

Eric could care less about the changes that had been happening. He was a dog so as long as he followed he would be fine, and less people meant less beatings. Though with such an uproar occurring so much, the beatings and threats only increased.

Which was why he was so confused as to why he was out right now. Outside, wandering around the streets confused, wet, and exhausted. They kicked him out, not allowed to go back until they told him to. This has only happened a couple of times before for no reason, but they would have called him back to be picked up again by now.

His stomach made a strange noise and he ignored it. It was empty and made a feeble attempt to beg for some food. He couldn't eat without his owner around. It was more important to listen for any sign of his phone ringing, telling him to come home, even though it was hard to focus, and his whole body hurt from some burn, or bruise or possible broken bone. But he had to keep going...he had to keep mo--

Ah.

He felt his knees buckle from under him and he crashed into something that wasn't the ground, soft and lumpy in some places. He stared ahead, not really recognizing anything  and he vaguely wondered when the last time he had some food in his stomach...he couldn't recall.

The aches and pain he felt in his body were fading away and he blinked a bit as the raindrops started hitting his face. Maybe this was the reason why they kicked him out...to see if he would be alive by the time they called him. His use was up after all...huh.

Eric closed his eyes, not caring either way, he was tired, his whole body hurt, his stomach hurt even if it no longer complained. He was fine with this, dying perhaps. ]

Because we wanted nerds being nerds and conventions are a thing.

PROMPTS!

1. Can't get in - You snooze, you lose. Didn't get up early enough? Well too bad. Now you're stuck in line, either in front of the convention center or at the train station. Are you willing to wait in line? Try to bust in? Or maybe a kind friend has saved your space for you. Or maybe an asshole has decided to try and muscle their way in front.

2. On the main floor - The main draw of comiket are (of course), the tables held by various doujinshi circles. Whether you've been here before or got dragged by a friend, it seems bigger and busier than you ever thought it could be. There are thousands of tables selling everything from doujin to merchandise as well as the occasional booth from a video game company or a publisher announcing this season's anime. Better make sure your friends are still within reach. It's pretty easy to get lost in the sea of sellers, buyers and cosplayers. Also you might want to note that thanks to JUNGLE, members of Scepter 4 and HOMRA have been getting pretty popular so... don't be surprised if you suddenly catch doujinshi and merchandise with your mug on the cover. and possibly shipped with someone you know or might not have even spoken to

3. I need a break - Maybe that's just way too much excitement for you for one day but you need a breather. Back outside, there are refreshment stands at least so you can grab a snack if you want. Of course, you'll probably have to step around all the people hanging around and playing video games or dodge the occasional circle of cosplay photographers.

Or whatevs!
Go crazy!

[ December 8th, just early enough for some small cracks of light to filter through the sky. Not that Eric was paying attention to that as he entered the bar. It should have just remained dark, the sun shouldn't shine after what just happened.  They all had just gotten back from the beach, just after...the funeral. He ignored everyone as he placed himself on his usual spot on the couch. And though he stopped doing it a while ago, today he put his legs up like he used to and curled up in a ball.

Kusanagi was saying something to everyone but he couldn't hear, he didn't feel like paying attention to anything that anyone had to say right now. Totsuka was dead and that's really all that went through his head.

The next time he looked up he saw that a lot of the members of Homra were gone, and there was a small plate of breakfast in front of him. He ignored it as well and continued to sit like that.  ]
