[ It's been just a few weeks since Homra had decided to wipe out a chunk of Hikawa, and the atmosphere surrounding the group was all but tense, inside and out.

Eric could care less about the changes that had been happening. He was a dog so as long as he followed he would be fine, and less people meant less beatings. Though with such an uproar occurring so much, the beatings and threats only increased.

Which was why he was so confused as to why he was out right now. Outside, wandering around the streets confused, wet, and exhausted. They kicked him out, not allowed to go back until they told him to. This has only happened a couple of times before for no reason, but they would have called him back to be picked up again by now.

His stomach made a strange noise and he ignored it. It was empty and made a feeble attempt to beg for some food. He couldn't eat without his owner around. It was more important to listen for any sign of his phone ringing, telling him to come home, even though it was hard to focus, and his whole body hurt from some burn, or bruise or possible broken bone. But he had to keep going...he had to keep mo--

Ah.

He felt his knees buckle from under him and he crashed into something that wasn't the ground, soft and lumpy in some places. He stared ahead, not really recognizing anything  and he vaguely wondered when the last time he had some food in his stomach...he couldn't recall.

The aches and pain he felt in his body were fading away and he blinked a bit as the raindrops started hitting his face. Maybe this was the reason why they kicked him out...to see if he would be alive by the time they called him. His use was up after all...huh.

Eric closed his eyes, not caring either way, he was tired, his whole body hurt, his stomach hurt even if it no longer complained. He was fine with this, dying perhaps. ]

[ He probably shouldn't have spent what little money he had on a subway ride, but his early morning had been spent huffing his way uptown, just so he could maybe find a place willing to give him some work for a bit of cash. But it was a no-go. None of them were impressed with his lacking resume and certainly unprofessional attire. Not to mention he was without a completed basic schooling. It was one of those instances where Bandou didn't understand how he was supposed to improve any of that if no one would give him a shot to begin with, and he left each place giving petty scowls to each of the current employees.

He'd stood at the entrance to the subway, gripping the few bills he had and contemplating his choices. Eat or get back downtown quicker and easier? He supposed he could just find somewhere to sleep here, but the homeless were a lot more territorial than you would think. He'd be better off getting back to his own spot before someone else claimed it. Maybe he could just find some food someone tossed out, like he usually did.

So with that, he made his decision and payed for his ticket. He'd probably regret it later but whatever, he was tired and grumpy and wanted to get "home." And plopping into one of the seats, he yawned loudly, slouching down and trying to relax as best he could. ]
