A...ah yes!

[ He jumps because this guy was the one giving him orders niw he should probably listen to. He folliws along head down and close to Bandou. So much change in so little time.]

[ When they get outside and find where the group is, it's fairly obvious who's been victorious. Bandou shouts out an 'Oi!' and heads turn towards where the two are coming up behind them. A guy with golden brown hair and wearing a cap runs over eagerly, calling out "San-chan!" and waving. ]

You don't have to do this either, it's your choice. But these guys won't treat you like Hikawa did.

[ Bandou comments to Eric before pulling his hand from his pocket and waving back. ]

[ Eric followed along silently, looking at the group that had started it all. The one that wiped out half of his world and extinguished the rest in a blink of an eye.

He looked from Bandou to the one that was running over back to the other. ]

Ah...uhm...

[ He looked down he had a choice in joining now too? This was all way to much. He was scared, too much unknown and he felt himself starting to shake. He wasn't sure if it was from the fear or pain or both but he couldn't move or answer the other. ]

[ Unfortunately for Bandou, Shouhei has decided to cling onto him, obviously happy that he's okay. Bandou yells at him, trying to push him off.

While that ordeal is going on... The others make their way over. Coming up behind them all is a man with fiery red hair and a rather intimidating look upon his face. He eyes Eric, quiet for the moment. Since Bandou's alright and the kid's not attacking, he'll let him speak first. ]

[ Eric flinches slightly when the guy practically tackles Bandou. He shuffles a bit before seeing another person approach the two and he freezes. This, was he red king wasn't it? He looked terrifying. He gulped, he had no idea where to even start. But, maybe the truth first. ]

...The one that captured loudmouth here, was me.

[ He's shaking but he looks up at the red monster ]

I'm entirely prepared for whatever you wish to do. I'm not going to back down.

[ Eric didn't trust what Bandou said. But if he had to accept a punishment, even accept death, it was fine, he thought. He did something for himself, that seemed more then enough. ]

[ Bandou's finally freed from Shouhei's clutches and gives the guy a hard punch in the arm when he says, 'San-chan looks funny all dressed up and without his hat and glasses!"

Meanwhile, Mikoto takes a drag from his cigarette then slowly breathes out a trail of smoke.

"Is that so?" He answers Eric in his usual monotone voice; intimidating yet hard to decipher.

Hearing his king speak, Bandou finally turns back towards the others. ]

I told this idiot he should come talk to you or there'd be nothing left of him. I don't think he's a bad guy.

[ The Red King takes another drag before crushing the cigarette butt under his shoe. He approaches Eric, seemingly towering over him despite only a few inches difference in height between the two of them. ]

[ Eric takes a step back. He only barely heard what Bandou said because there was a giant standing in front of him and he was scared stiff.

Did Bandou lie? Were they going to kill him? He couldn't read whatever this guy was planning.

Even if they were he was going to stand his ground. He's ready. ]

[ Bandou remains to the side, getting a good smack on the head from Kusanagi-san despite this totally not being his fault!!

The Red King remains quiet for what probably seems like an eternity. He looks Eric up and down, assessing him before finally extending a hand to him.

A flame engulfed hand, mind you. ]

[ Is that hand on fire? Eric thinks that hand is on fire...Wow it really is on fire. WHY IS IT ON FIRE??

He looks over at Bandou not sure what to do. But then again he knew already. This was a hope. This place could be somewhere he can be safe in. He hoped that it was Even if another part of him though he was just putting on another collar, that flicker of hop somehow was still there and it was for that reason why one of his hands went up.

He takes it in his own shaky hand. ]

[ Bandou looks up from where he was clutching his head. Oh wow, the guy's actually going for it. He half expected him to run off in panic, especially when the flames erupted around Mikoto's hand. But the was actually doing it. He was making his own choice to trust them and shake Mikoto's hand.

And at that contact, the flames flare briefly before dying down entirely. Mikoto gives a short, but approving grunt. Welcome to the Red Clan. And the King's busy pulling another cigarette out of his back pocket. ]

[ When the hand left, Eric feel a warm sensation on his shoulder. Quickly he unzipped a bit of his hoodie, revealing a collar on his neck as well, and placed his hand there, looking at it. A tattoo, a red tattoo that he vaguely new was the symbol for Homra.

His eyes widened and look between the one who gave him that mark and the one that had given him his freedom, not sure what to do. ]

[ Bandou comes closer, giving Eric a grin. ]

See, I knew you weren't an asshole like the rest of Hikawa.

[ Wait, he should clarify. ]

Not that it's cool to kick me in the stomach whenever you want!!

[ He steps back a bit from Bandou, this was still too knew he didn't know what to expect. ]

If you had been quiet then you wouldn't have gotten one.

[ Learn to deal with it, Eric, cause it doesn't stop just cause he's not being held hostage anymore. ]

Well, congrats. I'd still say you owe me for making me miss my job interview, though.

[ Owing??? What kind is that he doesn't like the sound f it at all what are you going to do Bandou?? ]

[ Why does the guy look like he's gonna have a heart attack all of a sudden?? ]

I'd say some damn money, but you probably don't have any, right? I doubt those guys paid you anything.

[ Because owing could mean terrible things that he doesn't want to get into. He shakes his head. ]

Just...food, sometimes

Fine. Then, you better just be there if I need you. You're part of HOMRA now and we do things together. We're a team!

[ That seemed easy enough. And agreeing might help in the long run.

But for now, sorry Bandou but Eric is teetering a little. A dizzy from hunger and pain makes him fall a little on Bandou's shoulder. ]

[ Bandou flails a bit but manages not to move enough for Eric to suddenly fall to the ground. He legit looks worried though. ]

You okay?

[ He nods. Yes he's fine he has to be fine no worry not now ]

Y-yeah...I'm okay.

[ A little bit slower than he liked Eric managed to stand back up on his own ]

We can head back to the bar. You can pass out on one of the couches if you want.

Okay.

[ The bar. He heard that was their base but it was hard to find or hard to fight near because a lot of the members stay in there.

Eric hides his face with his hood, already in the gang and he's causing trouble bad bad bad ]

[ You're not causing trouble, Eric. Shush.

Bandou follows along behind the others, hands in his pockets. ]

Don't act so weird. The guys are gonna want to talk to you and stuff.

[ He is causing trouble, this is trouble.

Eric stays near Bandou everyone else seemed too weird to get close to now. He tilts his head ]
