Some members of Homra may be annoyed that they aren't higher up the list on other members of Homra's emergency contact, but Izumo is everyone's first contact.
Except Tatara who never filled out any of the emergency contact stuff (and somehow managed to keep it away from Izumo so he couldn't fill it out)
- Yata is still in semi-regular contact with his mom, step-father, and younger siblings. Said siblings have met several other members of Homra but Yata tries to keep them away from Clan business.
- Yata loves multiplayer games, but vastly prefer cooperative or cooperative-competitive over simply competitive ones. Regardless, he's always quick to agree when someone asks to play.
- Speaking of games, he's a drama queen when he loses and a gloat when he wins, but is actually a good sport about it all.
- He hates emotional chick flicks, depressing dramas, and other sad movies... because he cries easily over them and it's embarrassing. Homra discovered this when a drama Tatara had been following had a surprise tragic ending.
- Though by no means a reliable repairman Yata is half-decent at tinkering with and fixing computers and phones, just by virtue of having watched Fushimi do so for so long.
- On the other hand, he's stubborn about sticking with his wristphone, slow to adjust to other technologies, and finds most other phones cumbersome and annoying.
- He doesn't like to admit that he's good at cooking but will do so for any member of Homra (so long as they ask nice and stroke his ego a little first).
- Since Fushimi left Homra, Yata no longer has his own apartment. He couch surfs with the various other Homra members or stays in the bar itself; he makes up for his freeloading in the forms of chores and errands.
- Has two older brothers that are very successful - Was a nerd, was really happy before parents rejected his ideas and wanted him to be something else 'like his brothers' 'act like your older brothers' etc - Ran away from home when he was 16/doesn’t stay in contact with his family - Brothers name: Niouta & Ichirou - Sleep Habit: Tosses and Turns (Blames it on the other person if the sheets are everywhere and he's sharing a bed)

- Mother died in Kagutsu crater, Father killed himself not long after, raised by his grandparents, age 10 - Born in Tokyo, moved to Shizume for grandparents - Didn't like his grandparents at first, ran away a few times. Major one was during New years when his grandmother made a dish that wasn't like his moms. Wandered until a shrine and stayed there, someone who worked there talked with him and he began to cry cause he missed his parents. Grandparents found him and he apologized and didn't run away again - Made friends with Dewa because he was being teased for being a nerd, not minding him at all, and never minded afterwards they became friends - Used to give Dewa random things (Food, water, small toys etc.) when they were younger, continues to do this with Anna and Eric, because he wants the neglected to be happy (Since he had a family and was loved he wants the ones who didn’t have a chance to receive it) - Would steal things with Dewa and get into fights with people - Lives up top from his grandparents job, dry cleaning(?), helps out often but also has part time job to help with expenses, doesn’t want to leave them because they need help and he owes them so much - Either works at coffee shop or bookstore

Much arguing between Chitose and Dewa because Chitose wanted him to stay and Dewa didn’t - Helped Chitose during his bad breakup - Used to fistfight but more comfortable using weapons, saves most of his fists for Chitose when he’s being an idiot
