Happy Birthday Fail Fujishima!

[ Eric watched silently from his position on the couch as everyone seemed to hustle or bustle about in some way or another. It was mostly Totsuka doing a lot of whatever it was that was causing this uproar, bringing out a cake, some strange accessories and everything of the like.

He ignored it all as it filled the bar, along with everyone there. He wasn't used to their strange behaviour yet, they didn't seem to have any consistency.

They said they were waiting for someone, he didn't catch his name, only half paying attention to what was going on. They weren't needing him or talking about him so he really just had to stay put where he was. There were a few people still not in the bar, Fujishima included, so perhaps they were waiting for one of them. ]

Your stomach was growling.

It's fine...

I'm getting you some cake.

[ And he's up and fetching it now. ]

AH...Uhm...

[ Annnd he's gone....

He looks down, feeling bad for letting Fujishima get him some cake. Was food okay to eat? He was fine not eating, he shouldn't worry. He fidgeted with his fingers, guilt keeping him quiet. ]

[ Plopping back down next to Eric with cake for them both. At least he didn't get you a massive slice. ]

Eat this.

[ He stares at Fujishima before staring at the cake. ]

It's...really okay I can have this?

[canwekeepit]

Hmm.

[ He humms and nods, as he's mid bite when Eric asks. It's some good cake! ]

[redstray]

[ It's a bit slow, but he takes the utensil and puts some of the cake on it. Looking back at Fujishima one last time he takes a bite out of the cake. ]

It's sweet...

It's good though, right?

[ Fujishima smiles, encouraging Eric to eat more if he likes it. ]

[ He tilts his head, trying to think if it was or not. Finally after a second bite he shrugged ]

I guess...

[ Fujishima shakes his head ever so slightly. Eric was still so reserved and unsure. It'd be hard to get him to loosen up, but Fuji wasn't planing on giving up anytime soon. ]

You don't have to eat it if you don't like it. Kusanagi-san's probably got something else in the back you could eat.

[ He shakes his head, that would be wasting food. And he didn't hate it, so...that meant he liked it right? ]

I don't mind it...it's fine...

[ Well, he thinks the cake is pretty good, so he'll take his time eating. After setting his empty plate on the table in front of them, he humms softly. ]

My mother should be cooking something special for me tonight. They usually have something set up for my birthday. [ He pauses, judging Eric's reaction before continuing. ] It'd be nice to have you there.

[ Eric visibly stiffened at the mention, his hand clenching the fork, not bothering to put more cake on it.

To be at someones house, to see someone elses family...

Half of him wanted to obey, the other wanted to stay away as far as possible. He gives a shaky nod of his head, he would have to go anyways, right? ]
