[ Bandou shuts up for the most part, just making a variety of aggravated noises.

It's a few minutes before he finally speaks up again. ]

Whoever this boss is of yours, why are you doing his dirty work anyway?

[ He stares at Bandou thankful for the peace and quiet.

When he hears the question he gives a loose shrug ]

A dog listens to his owner

[ It's one thing to want to follow orders cause you have respect for your boss' ideals and pursuits, but that phrasing tells Bandou that's not what's going on here. ]

And what, you're completely okay with that?

[ He tilts his head]

Why wouldn't I be?

You called yourself a dog. Unless that's a nickname for your clan's members, your so-called owner sounds like a real asshole.

[ He is. But he's not, his owner is his owner, there was nowhere else he could go. His owner was all he had. If he was a jerk or not was depending on if Eric was good or not, and he tried his best to be a good dog. ]

It's none of your business loudmouth.

[ Okay, this time it's not actually any of his business, but he's still gonna grit his teeth angrily. ]

Shut up! Look, you don't seem fucking happy. I mean, what the hell are you getting out of this anyway?

[ Eric flinches a bit, loud noises he does not like, even if it is coming from an enemy. There's another loose shrug, he's trying to not care. This was his life. ]

Food, place to sleep.

[ Not dying? ]

That's it? And what's gonna happen now that you got the wrong guy?

[ The visible bruises are enough to answer that question, but still. ]

[ Eric glares before picking up one of his arms and unrolling the terribly long and baggy sweater to reveal old scars and burns and showing new red smallish holes on the top of his arm. Cigarette burns. ]

Already paid my punishment. If things go well there won't be anymore. So shut up and be quiet or I'll do the same to you.

[ He puts the sleeve back down, he didn't like looking at them. It reminded him he was a bad dog. He just wanted the guy to shut up. ]

Eh...

[ That's fucked up. A boss shouldn't be treating his members like that. ]

You don't have to sit and take that, you know.

[ He's technically not a member, just a dog. He frowns, he does not want to hear this. ]

...Like I said it's none of your business.

Tsk Fine, whatever.

[ He slumps down against the box he's tied to. Damn his arms are starting to ache like this. ]

[ Finally some silence in this room. He's right you know. He's not. You should listen to him. Then what, what could he do to change his life? He didn't deserve it. He could help you. No, no he can't. He was just a dog, that's all.

It wasn't 15 minutes after that the earth shook slightly as an explosion type sound went off some ways away, knocking Eric out of his thoughts. He looked at one of the windows, noticing some smoke coming from there. ]

So it happened, huh?

[ The sudden sound and shaking was quick to knock Bandou out of whatever daze he'd been in for the past 15 minutes. ]

Wh-what the hell was that?

[ He followed Eric's gaze to the window, seeing the smoke. Were they finally here? ]

Another warehouse.

[ Since it went off that means something worked so now explaining time. ]

They were going to lead your group to a warehouse for an exchange but it was a fake. They filled the boxes with explosives and metal. When they would go in it would be set off.

[ Whoever went in would be bombarded with not only explosives but sheets of broken metal like a grenade, how many people would put up their auras up in time or at all even to see it coming?

Eric stood up and withdrew his knife from behind him ]

Since that's done with, you're no longer needed.

[ Bandou's eyes widen in shock. No way... something that simple couldn't take out the Red clan. Especially if Mikoto-san was there... right?

Still, the worry that his King, or even worse, a bunch of his comrades could be dead is evident on his face. He remains still as Eric approaches him with the knife, not really hearing the last thing he said. ]

[ Eric tilts his head, eyeing Bandou's face. He leans down and stares. ]

Guess you were wrong, huh?

[ He plays a bit with the knife looking bored ]

You don't know what happened out there! And you obviously no nothing about HOMRA's power!

[ He kicks out at Eric, attempting to knock him down. It's out of anger, because the last thing on his mind right now is what Eric might do to him with that knife. ]

Uwa!

[ The kick was a surprised and he backed away to avoid it, if only tripping and falling on his side. A lot more pain from older injuries flared up and he hissed. Damn it. He managed to get up a bit after a few moments, this guy was a pain. ]

Like hell I don't, you wiped out half of this group with it.

We wouldn't have done something like that if your guys didn't do something to deserve it! HOMRA doesn't just go after people for no reason!

[ He's straining against that box he's tied to. A red aura begins to form around his bound hands, the rope around them slowly charring. This is HORMA you're dealing with, Eric. Anger only fuels their power more. ]

You don't know shit about us and you just go along with whatever your 'owner' says? He obviously doesn't give a fuck about you so why are you listening to him?!

[ Oh he knows. He knows they did something bad. His master always wanted more territory, more area for his gang. They had gotten so much but he still wanted to be bigger, grander. And he had turned his eyes to Homra, not believing the unbelievable rumours about them. And they hit, and they hit hard. How even half of them survived was beyond him.

He manages to stand up, clenching his knife ]

This is...

[ Why did he listen? He was just a dog thats why. Master gave him this so that was what he had to do. Why does this guys not get that? ]

This is the only world I have! So I have to...I have to...do this.

[ The rope around Bandou's wrists frays, threatening to snap at any moment. ]

It's just the only one you know.

[ Believe him, most of HOMRA only knew one thing. But they realized they could change that and got out. ]

[ He smiles, albeit a bit sadly. ]

Heh, it's the only one I deserve.

[ He didn't know anything else but this, to live another way...he couldn't even think of anything.

Eric snaps his head to the door hearing a boom. There was some shouts, then screams. This can't be good... ]

[ The ruckus outside gives Bandou the opportunity he needs. A final tug and the rope snaps. He's positive all that noise means the gang's alright, and he needs to get out there to them.

He quickly gets to his feet, intending to run out, but he pauses, turning back towards Eric. He pulls his arm back, throwing a punch at the guy and connecting hard with his jaw. ]

Idiot. Here's your fucking opportunity. Get outta here and do something for yourself.
